The planning for the next PDO Symposium is in the early stages and a committee has been formed to work on this event. An opportunity being explored is partnering with the group that hosts the Precision Dairy Farming Conference (precisiondairyfarming.com). PDO was instrumental in organizing a conference featuring advanced precision dairy farming technologies and robotic milking as part of our Symposium in 2010, held in Toronto. The developments that have happened since then touch almost every aspect of dairying and we’re hoping that we can build another event that provides leading edge information and practical options for dairy farmers to learn about, and use, for their own operations.
